With more than 25 years of experience in the education sector, Bailis has helped create and deliver innovative learning solutions spanning K–12 and higher education. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale content development initiatives, built and guided cross-functional teams, and strengthened operational strategies for organizations including LearningMate, Westchester Education Services, Straive, National Geographic Learning, and Pearson Education. His work has supported major initiatives across mathematics, science, and STEM, combining instructional innovation with scalable production processes to meet the evolving needs of educational publishers, educators, and learners.

 

Since joining Contentra as Chief Operating Officer, Bailis has played a key role in strengthening operational excellence, enhancing collaboration across teams, and positioning the company for continued growth. He is passionate about bringing together people, process, and technology to create meaningful solutions for clients. A strong advocate for innovation in education, Bailis is particularly focused on how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, can be leveraged to improve efficiency, enhance creativity, and expand what is possible in educational content development.
